Please read these booking terms and conditions carefully. they contain important information and set out your agreement with S.T.S.
S.T.S. is registered in vietnam. the contract and all matter arising from it are subject to vietnamese laws and vietnamese courts.
By booking a tour and paying the non-refundable deposit, you acknowledge you have read and agree to S.T.S. booking conditions.
The booking conditions are obligatory when S.T.S. confirms your booking by phone, fax, mail or emails.
Prices and conditions
Prices are based on the exchange rates and the real costs of the services at the time of confirmation.
Inclusions of tour prices:
- Accommodation (from 1 to 5 star hotels, room types under requests, twin sharing)
- All meals indicated in the itineraries
- Ground transport throughout the tours (convenient road vehicles, boat, train, motorbike, tuk tuk, rickshaw, bicycle, horse-cart, cow-cart, or elephant)
- All domestic flights indicated in the itineraries
- All international flights indicated in the itineraries
- Entrance fees to all the sites and shows in the itineraries
- Local english, french, german, chinese, thai, japanese, italian, korean, spanish, russian speaking guides throughout the tours
Exclusions of tour prices
- Visa to the country(s) where the tour is taking place
- International flights to and from the country(s) where the tour takes place
domestic and international airport taxes and surcharges if not included in the airfares such as in cambodia
- All kinds of insurance
- All kinds of personal expenses and tips
- Any costs not indicated above.
Please note: S.T.S. tries to arrange full-board tours for travelers due to the fact that it may cost travelers more time and money to do by themselves. but yet, we can deduct some costs such as meals or entrance fees from the total tour price if travelers wish to arrange by themselves.
- Hotel bookings always include breakfast, taxes, and service charge but exclude other costs of food, drinks, tips, laundry service, etc.
- Car rental prices always include the auto, driver, gas, parking fees and toll fees, use of 8 hours per day, but exclude other costs of food, drinks and accommodation for driver, tips, overtime charge, etc.
- Guide fee or interpreter fee includes only the person's work for 8 hours per day but exclude other costs of food, drinks and accommodation for the guide/interpreter, tips, overtime charge, etc.
- Visa application charge always includes application procedure and fee, but exclude visa fee on arrival at the airport paid to the custom.
- Air fares always include airport taxes and fuel surcharge except for those in cambodia
- Other tickets of bus, train, boat always include our delivery to the guests' hotels

Reservation conditions
You must pay full prices for any service bookings rather than a tour booking such as hotel reservation, car rental, visa application, ticketing of all kinds, guide, or interpreter after the service arrangement is confirmed by S.T.S. within a negotiable time frame
You must pay a deposit of 30% of the tour price within a negotiable time frame after a booking is confirmed by S.T.S.
you will pay the balance of 70% of the tour price by the date the service arrangements are started either by bank telegraphic transfer or in cash with the tour leader
Terms of payment
If payment is done by bank telegraphic transfer, all transaction fees should be on your side or an additional charge of 30 usd will be added to the total cost per transaction.
If payment is done by western union or in cash, no additional fee is applied.
Confirmation
Your booking is confirmed and binding when S.T.S. has received your 30% deposit and sent you a receipt by email, fax, or post.
Cancellations
- If you cancel the trip 40 days before the arrival, S.T.S. will refund your deposit.
- If you cancel the trip 39 - 30 days before the arrival, you will lose 10% of the full payment.
- If you cancel the trip 29 - 14 days before the arrival, you will lose 30 % of the full payment.
- If you cancel the trip 13 - 7 days before the arrival, you will lose 50 % of the full payment.
- If cancelled less than 7 days, you will lose 70% of the full payment.
- If no show, you will lose 100 % of the full payment.
Your trip
Please keep in mind that your trips are in vietnam and neighbour countries where standards of accommodation, transport, hygiene, medical facilities and other infrastructure may, at times, be lower than those you normally expect.
Travelling with S.T.S. requires a certain measure of flexibility, good humour, and understanding that the itinerary, accommodation and modes of transport may be changed due to circumstances beyond our control.
Due to the nature of expeditions, tour packages, excursions and/or other services provided; weather, acts of god, government, and/or airline regulations may require changes to be made to the itineraries and/or the cancellation of certain excursions or add-ons. every attempt will be made to adhere to the itineraries described within the limits of safety and time.
Disclaimer
S.T.S. will not be responsible for any unforeseen or unavoidable events which are beyond our control such as: earthquake, storm, flood, war or threat of war, riot, strike, disease, fire, and similar events. in the case of force majeure, S.T.S. will do its best to maintain at your own costs as much comfort and safety for you as possible. however, S.T.S. will not accept liability and reserves the right to change or cancel the trips.
S.T.S. does not assume any liability for any injury, damage, death, loss, accidents, incidents or delay to any person or property due to an act of negligence of or default of any hotel, carrier, restaurant, company or person rendering any of the services included in the tour.
